DNIFCL Search Location allows you to search listings by specifying location attributes like country, states, city or zip code. You can also search by keyword and categories option is included.

Modules Settings

There is a module setting available on this module and we will explain what options are available.

To go to the module settings, you will need to login first as administrator or any account that has been granted access to use this module.

1. Search Result Settings

By default, you dont need to specify the tab id in here, as the module will automatically locate where the DNIFCL Classified List or DNIFCL Custom Classified List module is installed. This option is a good option to use if you install more than once DNIFC Classified List or DNIFC Custom Classified List modules on the site.

2. Themes Setting

Themes is another new featured added on version 4.1.0, where user be able to change all the styles of the module. If you want to use your own module, it is recommended that you copy all the folder and files and renamed it to other name and the new theme name should be displayed in here. The themes for this modules are located under /DesktopModules/DNNInfo_Classifieds/Skins/SearchLocation

3. Show States only

Tick this will hide the country field and will only show states based on selected country.

4. Country Sort Field

You can set the country sort field value. Either it is sort by CountryID, CountryName, or Country Sort Index.

5. State Sort Field

You can set the state sort field value. Either it is sort by StateID, StateName, or State Sort Index.

6. City Sort Field

You can set the city sort field value. Either it is sort by CityID, CityName, or City Sort Index.

7. Hide Country

Tick this will hide the country field.

8. Hide State

Tick this will hide the state field.

9. Hide City

Tick this will hide the city field.

10. Hide Zip Code

Tick this will hide the zip code field.

11. Show category parent only

Tick this will only show the first level category (no subcategories).

12. Use TextBox for State

Tick this will make the State field to use textbox input rather than select dropdownlist.

13. Use TextBox for City

Tick this will make the City field to use textbox input rather than select dropdownlist.
